The best way to deal with a lack of inspiration and the depression that comes with it is a walk in nature.
After several months of work in an enclosed space, I decided to treat myself at least once a week to hike in nature. To absorb the beauty of natural colors, to observe the behavior of light and gather ideas and energy for the next painting.
I was fascinated by the multitude of shades of green, which I so rarely use in my paintings, so to make up for that, I painted this nature landscape inspired by my last hike.
My conclusion is that observing is equally important as painting and that I should probably go outside more often.
